Tellaro, the last village of the eastern shore of the Gulf of Poets is perched on a rocky peninsula sloping down to the sea. In the upper part is the old church dedicated to St. George (the second half of XVI century), overlooking a small square surrounded by the original houses of the old village, with a stop in front protected by a breakwater. Since 2004, Tellaro is part of the club's "The most Beautiful Villages of Italy". |
